This year's ECR day, organized by GS1 Germany, took place in virtual form from September 22nd to 23rd. As in previous years, Yagora was also part of the leading specialist conference for the consumer goods industry in Germany this year with its own (virtual) exhibition stand. Again this year, the ECR Day was an inspiring day with valuable insights and new impulses from the industry!
In addition to our booth, Yagora was also part of the lecture program! As part of the “Collaborate for Shopper” session, our colleague Steffen Schöne, Director Data Science & Shopper Research, together with Sonja Briffett, Head of Category Management & Category Insights Management, gave a lecture on our latest project. The topic: "Bring’ em back - Shopper activation in the Beauty Care category with segment-specific promotions ".
Together with Yagora, Henkel has identified four distinct shopper segments in the Beauty Care category and researched their activation potential - with the aim of increasing frequency and added value in the Beauty category. The study had two phases, is based on data from more than 3,000 shoppers and uses various implicit measurement methods to determine the attractiveness of promotions.
