gps dataservice becomes Yagora

21.09.2020

After more than 20 years, gps dataservice GmbH opens a new chapter in the company's successful history under the name Yagora GmbH.

Gerd Palmer, Managing Partner, Yagora GmbH:
"The change to Yagora GmbH is the logical consequence of the dynamic development of the company and the range of services that has been expanded in recent years."

Yagora is derived from the ancient Greek term agora, which stands for the marketplace and meeting place. The Y from Yagora and the figurative mark of the three arrows symbolize the meeting of shoppers, retailers and manufacturers.

Gerd Palmer, Managing Partner, Yagora GmbH:
“Our customers are looking for holistic solutions for their shopper-relevant issues. We can offer this through the optimal combination of quantitative and qualitative methods and thus provide valuable insights with concrete recommendations for action. "
For its customers from industry and trade, Yagora uses the latest research and analytics methods to measure and analyze the purchasing decision behavior of shoppers and to examine the attitudes, motives and emotions behind them.

Andreas Luppold, Partner, Yagora GmbH: “The moment of the purchase decision is our focus. For a holistic view, we take the shopper's perspective and supplement this with the perspectives of retailers and producer. Based on this understanding, we advise our customers on how to optimize their measures in the areas of sales, shopper marketing, category management and marketing."

In future, these competencies will be thematically bundled in the service areas

  • Shopper Marketing & Activation
  • Category Management & Shopper Experience

  • Brand, Product & Packaging
  • Price & Promotion Price Management
  • Account & Channel Management
